The IJCSA Chemical Hazards Certification Program. (CHC) Most chemicals used in the workplace have some hazard potential. This includes both process chemicals and cleaning chemicals. Employees have both a need and a legal right to know the hazards and identities of the chemicals they are exposed to and employers have the responsibility to identify the potential hazards of chemicals, train their employees, and provide proper PPE.

This course is designed to enable you to learn the chemical terms and concepts necessary to understand chemical hazards, to identify the potential hazards of chemicals, and to determine the proper protection required for employees.
